Strong Woman is a strength sport that challenges you with odd objects like Atlas stones, farmer’s carries, frame deadlifts, log clean and presses, and sandbag throws. Competitions range from local to global levels, celebrating strength, adaptability, and community.
This sport is important becsue many women aren’t encouraged to push and test the limits of their strength. More often than not, they discover that they’re so much stronger than they thought.
Our group meets on Sunday mornings in Baltimore, MD for a warm-up, strength training session, and event practice. Training varies based on upcoming competitions, but competing is completely optional—this is about building strength and confidence, however that looks for you!
